Kids Beach Fashion Photoshoot

Its such a pleasure to shoot with these lovely kids. They are just so so cute.

We are asked to do this shoot from a company in India. They found us on the internet and loved our work.

So on this front we were very happy too. I decided to break the shoot in to 2 separate parts. One on The Palm Jumeirah at sunset. The client sent me some photos of a kind of dream state backlit subject so I thought that would be ideal. In fact it was as I caught them perfectly.

We just love working with children. After nearly 29 years from my start of loving photography. I have mastered the key elements of getting the best from my clients. No matter how small they are!

I guide them in a way that they don’t really know that they are being asked. I let them play and capture them at their most natural.

These kids are so beautiful and look so good in the clothes. The client was  so very happy with the shots as its shows his clothes off so lovely. In fact its so lovely to see the boys wearing pink.  They are so sweet.

Our sister company The Lipstick make Up Institute pampered the kids. They put lipgloss on them. Gel in the boys hair and make them feel like little film-stars. We had a video made too so they felt really special.  They were so cute. On the video the kids had to shout, ” We love One Friday”. The little one could not say it properly. Was so cute, honestly. Makes one want to get married and have my own!

Another Amazing Sunday

Hi everyone

Feeling relaxed and chilled after another, “Amazing Sunday” at Nikki Beach. Every week we are there doing the photography and make up.  Its just feels like the most relaxing place in Dubai. Very chilled atmosphere, cool music and of course with winter upon us the weather is amazing!

As you can see by all our pictures everyone just enjoys themselves. They get into the spirit and come to my make up teams to get their Native American Make Up done.

Everyone gets into the spirit of the day that turns into night. Not only is the DJ pumping to he tunes but there is added entertainment from the electronic Violinist. Sometimes, there is the addition of a drummer that beats out and echoes the bass of the tunes from the DJ.

 

We have all the head dresses too so we can take some amazing photos of you. Photography is what we do as a job but its not really. Its a way of life. I know I am privileged to have found this forte in my life. I have carefully selected my staff who have the same passion as me too. As there is no point in doing something that you hate and just to pay the bills. In this vocation, it will show. You cannot disguise passion. You either have it or you don’t.

 

I have been a photographer now from starting at the age of 16 years old at college so really 29years. Still, I awake every day wondering what the day will bring. Each day, each light, each blow of the wind brings something new. Even if I go to the same beach every day using the same backdrop I will never repeat the same picture twice. A picture is taken in the moment. Each shot is an individual portrait.

Fun In The Sun

Every Sunday we have teamed up with Nikki Beach Dubai and we celebrate, “Amazing Sundays”. Our sister company, The Lipstick Make up Institute does all the native American Indian make up on the guys and girls. Making our statement that we are fast becoming the best make up school in Dubai.

Everyone come and join us, its fun in the sun. Its not like work for us. We brought two of our make up students who travelled just to Dubai to join our Lipstick make up School. Rima from Jordan, Mirjam from Germany, Wilmarie from South Africa and Vishva from India, just too many to mention.

We feel very blessed that they value what we do so much that they travel just for us as our reputation is beginning to travel.

Behind The Scenes of A family Beach Shoot

Family Beach Shoots are the most amazing shoots to do.

I love them. In fact, I love everything to do with photography.

The photographers main aim is to capture the love and trust between family members is  that the photographer can claim his or hers for sure.

Capturing the relaxed bond, love and emotion as well as fun on film for families to cherish forever is why I do this job. Nearly 28 years I have dedicated my life to photography.  Still I am moved and commuted and eager to get the best out of every shoot. I try to do nothing half hearted.

As I tell my staff all the time if they are not chatty enough or not operating 1000% percent.

It does not matter if you are tired or thinking about a relationship etc anything, your personal problems are just that. Anyone who comes to us must be made to feel the best we can make them feel. They have entrusted us with on of the most valuable possessions they might ever have as photos are everything!

They will allow us to look into their relationships, family relationships, they will show their emotions to us who are complete strangers, (Sometimes) !.  So we need to make them feel relaxed from the moment they enter the studio.

Making people feel good can only be good for the soul and reflects back on you as a person and makes you feel good. Adopt this policy in life and you will not go far wrong.

Great Day at Nikki Beach with the Lipstick and YH Teams.

What an honour and fantastic privilege it is to be working with the guys at Nikki Beach Dubai. We just absolutely love being a part of “Amazing Sundays’. This is something that happens all over the world from Monaco, Greece to Ibiza at Nikki because.

Now it is settle in Dubai after opening earlier this year, time to get with the programme and jump on board.

What a way to spend you Sunday, chilling in an amazing location with fantastic people doing what we love.

The them is Native American Indian so goes with the whole style of Nikki Beach with the teepees as their logo.

Everyone got involved and participated in having their make up done in the style, even the saxophonist and the staff loved it.

It was our first week there and I could not think of a better way to work. Seriously, it really isn’t like working, its like being on holiday talking and having a laugh with people.

Just have a look at the pictures, they speak for themselves.

The Lipstick Make up teams did a great job creating a bespoke design for each person but then again thats part of the fun using your creativity and being able to explore the wonderful world of make up. ! Check out theses pictures, they just speak for them selves.

Professional Photography in Dubai
