Part 3 of the story

Its about positivity

from all over the world from friends, family, customers and people I didn’t even know was just incredible.

Throughout my whole journey, I felt completely and utterly blessed. I must have done something right in

another life to deserve, such support and kind gestures.

The Journey

I tell people now that the journey of cancer brings out special things in people. It brings people together. So, I say

make the most of it and enjoy the time you have with friends and family that you might not have had the

opportunity to see as much as before your journey.

How was chemo day?

Chemo day was fun for me and my friends. They had their own WhatsApp group to arrange all the days and schedules.

Who is doing the morning, afternoon and evening shifts? Who is bringing what foods etc, It was like a party every week.

So much so that when chemo finished just as a joke my friend asked the doctor if we could

continue with chemo for a bit longer as they loved their Mondays with me ha ha.

AC was a little harder as I lost all my hair on my body apart from my head thanks to the Cold Cap .

I didn’t mind so much but I absolutely hated losing my eyebrows and eyelashes.

Against advice I had my eyebrows tattooed and they looked great. I also had my hair coloureds often under duress

as my Jamilla was scared but I told her, “If you don’t do it, I will “.

She did it, and it looked fabulous! I don’t know who wrote this book of do’s and don’ts but I will rewrte it to the “I CAN

.”Part 3 of the story

So the story Continues

As soon as chemo had finished, I was desperate to go away with my family and my doctor, so we went to the

Maldives and got spoilt rotten in the Ozen atmosphere its heaven on earth.

How was it the Day after?

The day after when I return and a had surgery , double mastectomy and reconstruction then 5 weeks of radiation. My

journey is now over and life resumes with a different outlook.
